Reverie Retreat Location and Directions
We are located an hour from the Sacramento airport, 1.5 hours from South Lake Tahoe, and 2.5 hours from San Francisco. These are estimated travel times and do not include traffic, so be sure to allow for additional travel time during peak traffic hours.
We are (at minimum) a 15-minute drive on winding country roads from any restaurant or grocery store.
At 2,200 feet in elevation in the Sierra Foothills you can expect temperatures in the 90s/100s F (32 – 38C) in the summer, and rain and sometimes even snow in the winter (although it rarely sticks around for long). Best to check the weather forecast before you come so you can adequately prepare for your stay.

Signs and lighting make it easy to know where to park, how to find the showers and which accommodation is yours. The robes for us to use to and from the showers and a large water jug with fresh spring water were classy touches. Showers were brilliant-sufficiently hot and plenty of water

The hot tub was undoubtedly the best I have ever been in.

Second stay at Reverie Retreat was just as perfect as the first. The surrounding area
is a piece of heaven, with forest trails, vineyards and farms to be discovered. Highly
recommend!

The space was clean, quiet, and perfectly minimalist.

The cottage is a perfect getaway for a couple or two friends. Nestled in the woods, it has
everything you need to have a relaxing stay in the Sierra Foothills. I appreciated the interior
design: environmentally conscious and streamlined with a soothing color scheme and quality
materials. The bed was SUPER comfy!
Kara
The cottage was relatively secluded so we felt as though we had plenty of privacy, we used the
grill to cook every meal (all cooking utensils were well stocked, along with a one pot burner,
coffee maker, fridge, and microwave), the bed was very comfortable, and the entire cottage was
super clean. There were little thoughtful amenities that made our stay even better (like a leash
for my dog so she could wander freely outside, plastic wine glasses we could take to the pool,
and plenty of furniture for us to relax indoors/outdoors).

Lush and beautiful, with towering 100+ year old oaks and a diverse array of other foliage
making for peaceful walks and beautiful views.

We enjoyed roaming around the
property, spent some time on the hammock, watched the beautiful sunset from the lookout
point, and ran into cute deer on our walk.
Andrew
Breathtakingly beautiful drive on Hwy 193 to idyllic property with a cozy, well-appointed cabin
in the woods. Comfortable bed, great shower and very quiet. I loved this place.
Curtis
We had everything we needed for a
couple great nights in the mountains!
Alex
Outdoor shower was amazing!!
Kim
The entire experience exceeded all our expectations and our only regret was that we didn't stay
longer.
Genevieve
It truly felt not just like a spot to sleep, but a completely pampering and private retreat experience.
