This place is magical. You are secluded and hidden away but still only minutes to shopping and dining in Placerville and some amazing outdoor adventures nearby.

Give In to the Water
Our vanishing-edge, salt-water pool and hot tub feature spectacular sunset views and are available for guests from 8am to dusk. Perfect after a daytime hike or local excursion, the hot tub is heated during the 2 hours before sunset.
There are few finer ways to enjoy a sunset than sitting in a hot tub and gazing out across the foothills with a glass of wine.

Where Simplicity Meets Beauty and Comfort
Nestled among heritage oaks and Ponderosa pines, our three glamping yurts offer tranquility, comfort and charm for those who like the idea of camping, but don’t want to “rough it”. Each has an attached outhouse with a compost toilet and hot and cold running water with semi-outdoor hot showers a short walk away. The Ponderosa and Blackberry Yurts have their own private outdoor soaking tubs.
Our first yurt experience was nothing short of wonderful - we enjoyed roaming around the property, spent some time on the hammock, watched the beautiful sunset from the lookout point, and ran into cute deer on our walk.

The Cottage Experience
Reverie Cottage has chic, modern finishes and a beautiful redwood deck where you can lounge the day away under the trees. A kitchenette, luxurious bathroom, and private outdoor soaking tub make this the optimal choice for the traveler who wants to be in nature yet still enjoy the comforts of home.
What a delightful place! Quiet and secluded with modern amenities. I heard the sweet sounds of frogs and owls in the evening.

Caring For Our Guests and Our Environment
We care about sustainability and the planet. We use unscented and chemical-free cleaners and laundry soap, and provide organic and biodegradable personal products for guests to use during their stay. Our water comes from a pure mountain reservoir just a few miles away so no need to bring your own bottled water.
Internet Access
Wifi is accessible throughout the property but we suggest the best way to experience all Reverie Retreat has to offer is to unplug, enjoy the birds chirping, listen to the breeze whistling through the treetops, and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
