Ponderosa Yurt
The Ponderosa Yurt is situated just above the pond where frogs provide the evening’s lullaby. This cozy 150 square foot yurt features a queen-sized bed, an outhouse with a compost toilet and hot water, and a private outdoor soaking tub. Semi-outdoor showers (shared) are a 400-foot walk up-hill. The yurt is insulated with a heater, a heated mattress pad, and an electric fan.
Cooking facilities include:
- Small refrigerator
- Drip coffee maker (coffee and tea provided)
- Propane grill and cooktop (propane provided)
Please note that the cooking area is not covered in case of rain.
We are unable to accommodate pets in the Ponderosa Yurt. Please book our Sunset Yurt or Reverie Cottage if you are interested in bringing your furry friend(s).

The attached compost toilet was awesome (first time using one, no smell at all), and the fans kept the yurt super cool at night. Queen bed was incredibly comfy. Overall, it truly felt not just like a spot to sleep, but a completely pampering and private retreat experience.”
Camp Box
For those who want to travel light we offer a camp box rental for $35 per stay for two people. Best to reserve in advance to ensure availability.
