The other day we went on a hike a little higher in elevation from Reverie retreat on the Lyons creek.
We were expecting it to be nice but also that the forest would be pretty dry when further from the creek.
But were we surprised when we entered a bouquet of wild flowers all around for miles and miles.
I could now go on with trying to explain the pleasure of hiking close to the creek in the beautiful forest and the amazing amount of flowers and animals and butterflies etc etc, but I believe that taking you on a visual tour will do it more justice.
Please enjoy what a good rainy winter does for the Sierras.
